No, we provide mat rentals for $5 dollars per person. We make sure to clean the mats for you after each lesson. Yoy may brig your own mat but we are not responsible for damage.
Do you offer private events?
Yes. We offer private events for team building for businesses, bachelorette parties, birthdays etc. Go to the Booking tab on the home page and complete a request form.
Are there hand washing stations and hand sanitizer?
Yes, absolutely!
Can I bring family members or friends to take pictures of my class?
They can take photos from outside the corral but they must have a ticket to attend.. All participants must remain on their yoga mats for the duration of the class.
What breed of goats do you have?
THe rescue has over 50 Nigerian Dwarf Goats, who are around 80 lbs when full grown.
Do you have rescue goats?
Yes! We have rescued 54 goats in our program.
Are the goats potty trained?
No. Goats eliminate small pellets, and they could make a mess. We always have staff ready to sanitize and ensure a sanitary event.
Do you force the goats to participate?
No. Goats are very social animals and they like the interaction time with humans. Giving them an obstacle course makes it that much more fun for them.
Will there be media?
There are times when the media will come out to film an event. You are under no obligation to be filmed. Each class is required to sign a media release form.
What is Goatflix?
Goatflix and Chill is a program where we watch movies with goats. Everyone brings a lawn chair and a blanket and gets snuggly.
Where is the nearest airport?
The nearest Airport is Denver International Airport, which is about 45 minutes from our locations. Fun Fact: we brought goat yoga to the airport! see some of the media here.
Are the goats in a separate area while the class is happening?
No, the goats will be free to wander and snuggle up next to you. They are most time guided by a herder.
Are there refunds?
No refunds within 7 days of an event. We are able to make special accommodations should you need to use your ticket for another date. Please contact info@rockymountaingoatyoga.com for all ticketing issues.
What type of Yoga do you do in the class?
It is an all-skills level yoga class. We are able to accomodate anyone from children to the elderly
Do I have to participate in the Yoga?
No. Some people just like to sit on their mat and snuggle goats.
How long is the event?
Our events are an hour long. 45 minutes of goat yoga followed by a 15 minute photo op period.
Do your goats bite or headbutt?
They head butt each other but never head butt humans. They never use aggression on humans and never bite out of aggression. We have implemented rules such as " Please do not touch the goats head.' That way they never learn to use this type of communication with humans.
Is your service safe? Are there any risks?
We make the events as safe as possible by training the goats and staff on proper handling. There are inevitable risks in goat yoga. It is an inherently dangerous activity that involves goats climbing on humans. We recommend parents sit closely to children and use caution while in practice.
Do you provide Animal-Assisted therapy?
Yes, through the Goat Walkabouts program. We focus on memory care centers and special needs.
Are your goats safe around children?
Yes but parents need to sit with their children at all times to avoid any accidents.
Do you need outside instructors?
Yes, if you are a yoga instructor, you can contact us for more information about helping out. We are happy to work with people who bring good vibes and are willing to be a part of the team.
Are dogs allowed to the events?
No. We will allow service dogs in non animal areas but to avoid any stress in our herd, we will not allow animals inside the same enclosure as the goats.
